Responsibilities:
Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors.
Sanitization: Cleaning restrooms, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies.
Maintenance: Emptying trash/recycling, changing light bulbs, descale ice machine and changing oven and dishwasher filters.
Security: Locking doors, making sure thermostats are set to seasonal temperatures and lights are shut off.
grounds: Occasional snow shoveling, leaf removal, or cleaning entrances.
setup: Make sure hall and meeting rooms are setup for events.
Requirements & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums).
Knowledge of industrial kitchen equipment (dishwasher, stove, ice machine).
Physical agility and ability to stand/bend for long periods. Must be able to climb a ladder and lift 501bs.

This position entails comprehensive responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the interior and exterior spaces at St. Mary’s Church and Rectory, St. Joseph’s Church and B&B, Cemetery garage and St. Mary of the Lakes Church. Duties include shoveling, and salting walkways and entryways at the rectory, churches, and B&B. During the summer months, responsibilities will also include mowing and weed whacking at these properties and on the school grounds.
