Holy Cross Parish is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Organist/Cantor to serve our vibrant Catholic parish community. Pay range: $100.00/mass Responsibilities Include:
Providing organ and piano accompaniment for weekend Masses, Holy Days, funerals, weddings, and other liturgical celebrations as needed.
Serving as cantor and leading the congregation in sung worship.
Collaborating with clergy and parish staff to plan and prepare music that supports the liturgy.
Assisting in fostering active participation in the musical life of the parish.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in organ and piano accompaniment.
Ability to cantor and lead congregational singing.
Familiarity with Catholic liturgy and sacred music.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting the mission of the Church.
Schedule:
Two weekend Masses per week.
Additional liturgical celebrations as mutually agreed upon.
