The St. Francis of Assisi Annual Christmas Fair will be held Saturday, November 1 from 8:30 AM to 3 PM, at the St. Francis Social Center at 10 Park Street in Belchertown. On Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 7:30 PM, the Adult and Youth Choirs of St. Michael's Cathedral will be joined by singers from around the Diocese of Springfield and professional musicians in a performance of Handel's Messiah. This special event is held in celebration of the Jubilee year, and is not to be missed! The performance is free of charge; goodwill offerings are welcome to support organ renovations and the instruction of our youth choir members.
Handel's Messiah is an oratorio composed in 1741 that recounts the life of Jesus Christ through Scripture. Divided into three parts, it tells the prophesied birth of Jesus in Part I, his passion, death, and resurrection in Part II (including the famous "Hallelujah" chorus,) and final triumph over sin and death in Part III. It is one of the most famous and frequently performed choral works in Western music

Harmony House of Western Massachusetts, a nonprofit home for hospice patients, will host their 15th Annual Spaghetti Supper on Friday, November 7, from 5–7p.m. at the Moose Family Center, 244 Fuller Road, Chicopee. The community event raises funds to support the organization’s mission, providing a home and compassionate, around-the-clock care, allowing residents to live their final days to the fullest.
