Sacred Heart Church, 191 Elm St, Pittsfield, will launch its 1st Annual Organ Summer Concert Series, “Open Wide the Doors to Christ” Starting Wednesdays, June 24th at 12 noon The free half-hour concerts, with donations accepted, will be performed by Carl Bowlby, organist for Sacred Heart’s 8:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. Each program will begin and end with a hymn and include improvisations. Sacred Heart’s Mary Verdi will introduce the opening concert. Performances may run longer depending on the program.
